As a leader in the hospitality sector, our commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles is paramount.

We are dedicated to reducing our environmental footprint through the incorporation of sustainable practices at all operational levels, from energy-efficient installations in our premises to the ethical sourcing of our food and beverage supplies.

We acknowledge our social obligations, actively engaging with local communities and promoting inclusivity and diversity within our teams. Sound governance is the cornerstone of our ESG approach, with stringent, transparent practices ensuring responsibility at every tier. Our dedication to these principles not only shapes our corporate persona but also propels our vision for a sustainable and inclusive future in the hospitality sector. From the utilisation of eco-friendly chemicals to sourcing from local suppliers, social responsibility remains central to our ethos.

We have recently embarked on several initiatives that demonstrate this commitment. All our venues are sustainable, we take great pride in sourcing our ingredients locally. This enables us not only to support our local business and fostering local relationships and it also to reduce our carbon footprint by eliminating long-distance transport. Our commitment to sustainability extends beyond sourcing; we also practise energy conservation, waste reduction, and recycling.

Embracing sustainable packaging, like our biodegradable takeaway boxes, is a critical step towards our collective goal of environmental stewardship. Firstly, it reduces waste dumped in landfills, since the materials decompose naturally. Secondly, it contributes to the conservation of resources as sustainable materials are often made from renewable resources. Lastly, it also reduces our carbon footprint, as the production and recycling of these materials typically consume less energy. By choosing our takeaway meals, you’re not only savouring delicious food but also contributing positively to the environment.

We have partnered with Too Good To Go at our Glasgow locations in a bid to combat food waste. Too Good To Go’s mission is to ensure that fresh, scrumptious food isn’t wasted simply because it hasn’t been sold on time. Participating in the Too Good To Go scheme enables us to limit our food waste by allowing customers to purchase and collect ‘Magic Bags’ of this unsold food at discounted prices via the app. In our ongoing endeavour to protect the environment and champion sustainability, we’re thrilled to announce our partnership with GiftTree. GiftTree assists us in making a significant positive impact on the world and its people by joining the Sustainably Run Restaurant initiative.

With every room reservation, a life-changing GiftTree will be planted. Furthermore, diners at our Sustainably Run Restaurants have the option to purchase a GiftTree at the end of their meal. With GiftTrees, diners can select a fruit tree of their choice to be planted in a developing country, thereby creating their own mini forest of life-saving trees. This initiative empowers diners to offset the carbon impact of their meal, contributing to a greener, more sustainable world.
